This semester Professor Lauren Yapp has won two major campus-wide awards, the Howard R. Swearer Engaged Faculty Award from the Swearer Center for her work bridging Providence and Indonesia, and the William G. McLoughlin Award for Excellence in Teaching in the Social Sciences from the Dean of the Faculty’s office. Thanks to our students and concentrators who nominated her for these well-deserved awards, these are such great confirmations of her impact on the program, the College, and the university as a whole!
